To welcome the new year (which has started with below freezing temperatures, snow storms, and a cold of my own), having posted last about all of the events of 2013, I thought I'd follow with a post of some of my modeling goals for 2014 (part of which is coming out of my shell and letting my personality through more).
So far in my modeling, I haven’t actively pursued any sort of publications. After working at this for a few years now, I’d love a chance to collaborate with others on their projects to share with the world.
This has been a goal I’ve had for a while now. It sounds simple enough, but I really want to convey a story, something that effects the viewer of the piece. That and finding a great location would be ideal, so this one may take a bit of planning.
I’m letting my inner nerd out with this one. Nana Osaki is a character from a manga/anime. She is the lead singer of a punk band, a lover of Vivienne Westwood, and a sexy, confident woman whose story intrigued me from the start. Essentially, I’ve always wanted a chance to be her for a day, so I figure I’ll use my love of dressing up to my advantage.
Meet new people:
The past year gave me some great opportunities to work with new photographers, makeup artists, hair stylists, and designers. I want to continue that and meet even more people to collaborate within their various arts.
I love wearing makeup and talking about makeup, so at least once, I’d like to try doing a makeup review. Whether its sharing pros and cons I’ve found in my daily use of different products, or the fun of using specific things to create something new, its something I’ve never done before, so I’m going to take a chance and see what happens.
These are just a few of the ideas I’d like to work on this upcoming year. As the year progresses, I want to mark off the things I accomplish, and add new things to my goal list to further my experiences and chances to learn something new. I look forward to this year and sharing more with all of you!
Please feel free to email me any questions or ideas you would like to see this year.
Here is to 2014, may you all reach the goals you set, and learn more about yourselves along the way.
