The more I think about it, the more I realize just how quickly this entire year has passed. Already, we are into the second week of November, and all the leaves have just about fallen to the ground. As much as I love this season and all of the colors it brings, this tends to be the point when I start to realize how close it is to being over. The sun sets earlier each day, the air gets colder, and I wrap my scarf tighter.
This is more a reminder to myself, but make sure you get into the sunlight as often as possible now that it is so fleeting during the hours when we may have a chance to enjoy it! I'm already pulling out my hat and gloves for the mornings, and know that soon I'll need them for my ride home in the evening too.
I managed to get a few pictures for this post (with Sam's help! Thanks Sam!) of some last bits of color before it all faded away near me. Hopefully next year I'll do some traveling and get out early in the season to capture even more ranges of color.
As a side note, I've been inspired this past weekend to try and come up with a project for myself, so I'm in the beginning stages of creation and organizing. I'd love to see where this idea I'm working on takes me- I'll try to share more soon, so keep an eye out!
Where did you find the best color this season? There is a giant tree with bright orange leaves at the end of my road which has been magnificent all season-I'll be sad to see the last leaf fall!
