Previously, I had done a blog post about becoming different characters, and using things like wigs to transform oneself (this post in fact). Expanding on that a little, I recently purchased another wig, one that I feel is more similar to how my hair may naturally look if styled that way. It gives me the ability to be just a little more diverse with my looks between photo shoots, not to mention, the benefit of trying out a new style without worrying about having to wait to grow it out if I end up hating it!
I actually really like how this wig looks and think it could pass as my real hair.
I think I can easily create a younger look (not necessarily what I'd go for on a regular basis), but it can also look modern and chic without too much effort.
There is definite potential for an edgy look too (with a bit of product and some trial and error).
I'm amazed at how different bangs can make a person look/feel. I've wanted to see how bangs would look on me for a long time now, but was too afraid to "get the cut". This wig answered the question for me...not bad if I do say so myself!
Side note about March (since it's already March!), I have some openings this month, so if anyone wants to collaborate on a photo shoot (or feels inspired by this "new hairstyle"), feel free to send me an email or message me!
