One of my favorite pass-times when I want to relax on a cold night is curling up under a blanket and watching a good movie. Throw in some popcorn, a few sweets (maybe something/someone to cuddle), and it's all the makings of a cozy Winter night in.
There are a few Winter based movies I enjoy watching and thought I'd share:
And as much as I enjoy these movies, I know that once winter has been in full swing for a few weeks, I start to get cabin fever and itch to be outside somewhere warm and full of sunlight.
So along with my "Winter Movie List", I created a "Cabin Fever" list, consisting of my go-to feel good and wanderlust films. Some are funny, some are adventurous, and some are kids movies (I'm a sucker for a good animation), but they're all inspiring when the cold air and gray sky have lingered a little too long:
We've had a strange winter so far - not a lot of snow, but some pretty cold temperatures. I've had plenty of movie nights so far, and don't doubt I'll hit all of the movies on these lists before Spring arrives.
What's your favorite Winter or "Anti-Cabin Fever" Movie?
