I feel like we don't always appreciate things until there is a change in our routine (or at the very least acknowledge them). For example, we never think about how we actually feel on a regular basis until we get sick.
For me, it's always during the middle of whatever illness I'm battling that I say to myself "I can't wait to feel better! I'm going to make sure I appreciate waking up every morning without a...sore throat/headache/runny nose/stomach-ache/etc.etc.etc..." but of course once a week passes with no more symptoms, we forget how miserable we just were.
I notice how differently I do things when I'm sick Vs. on a normal day when I feel fine.

Even relaxing differs depending on how well I feel:
This post was most relevant to me this week, especially after getting a severe case of Strep Throat and Tonsillolith over the weekend. I'm still recovering from it, slowly but surely. Needless to say, this post was a good reminder to enjoy the healthy days, and know that even during the moments of being bummed while sick, it will get better.
Stay healthy as the seasons start to change again everyone, and try to find the humor in things (one of my main reasons for creating this post!) - I know that always helps me!
