The Art Model Series
Location: Durham, NH
Models: Side B Modeling and Anerael
Last month I posted some behind the scenes on my blog from this shoot with 4077 Photography and Anerael. I waited to display this gallery because the shoot was actually just one part in his project, “The Art Model Series” which took 1 month, 7 sets, and 12 models.
It was great seeing each other again-the last time that the three of us worked together was actually in September of last year-so we were overdue for some fun together.
I’m honored to be a part of this series, and share with all of you!
I especially enjoyed this shoot because it was something new for me- not based on fashion, or makeup, but on form, shape, and figure. In fact, it was a bit of a challenge for me-especially with the realization that there would be no hiding behind makeup, or elaborate costumes, or even the distraction of an accessory- just me and my sheet.
Luckily I was able to take a few shots with Anerael as well, so it helped take my mind off that vulnerability I felt- knowing that there was someone to pose with who was wearing just as much (or little) as I was for makeup and wardrobe, and seeing how good she made it look, gave me a boost of confidence- that and having someone to laugh with between shots definitely helped lighten my mood. (See the duo shots here)
I would love to try more creative concepts like this in the future, and keep challenging myself in areas that I don’t feel as secure in.
Thank you again 4077 Photography for allowing me to be a part of your project.
Make sure to check out both Anerael and 4077 Photography’s work, as well as more from this project!
