First planned shoot of 2016: Completed!
This past January I helped out modeling for a studio lighting class at the SOPHA in Manchester NH. I’ve modeled for that class in the past, but it had been quite a while. During my time there, I met BlackAxePhoto, and exchanged ideas for a shoot.
We used Airbnb to find our location. The owner, also a photographer, loved our idea. Their home was beautiful, with great decor and everything about the shoot flowed smoothly.
Outtakes
We had a great time, took some really nice shots, and plenty of outtakes as well. One of my favorite outtake moments was when we were shooting outside and found a shovel and I decided it would be my new prop. It actually looked a lot better than I thought it was going to!
So, of course, I had to do something even more ridiculous and turn it into an air guitar of sorts…because fashion…right?
I will say my favorite set of the day was when we did a natural look in the kitchen in front of a chalkboard and brick wall. I made good use of time by laughing and practicing my expressive poses while lighting was adjusted. And by expressive poses, I mean awful, borderline scary expressions.
Thank you BlackAxePhoto for the memorable shoot and great outtake images!
