It seems that while I was away this past weekend, Spring decided to make an attempt at re-establishing itself! This blog post is in honor of Spring’s warm weather, and the ever encouraging floral blooms. I even found some greenery in my backyard! I’m still waiting for the flowers, but in the meantime, I was able to make do with some gorgeous floral sets from Wild Lolita Fashion.
A giant thank you to the ladies at Wild Lolita Fashion for giving me the inspiration to shoot with their creations!
Bold Florals
I love the print and fit of this bralette and garter belt. Not to mention how nice they look against the green! Another bonus is that I can adjust them easily to my size. These look great as a bralette and garter belt, but I also found they work well as a crop top and skirt accent. Don’t feel like you just have to wear them under your wardrobe – get creative with your styling!
This shoot was actually the first time I attempted a crown braid. Well let’s be honest, it was the third attempt by the time I actually had it up and pinned in place correctly. Regardless, it’s a cute look for warm weather, and keeps the hair off your neck on warmer days!
Vintage Floral
This vintage style, floral bralette is another perfect example of floral design use in Spring. Although I may be a little less likely to wear this one out and about town as a top. I love the sheer fabric combined with delicate floral patterns and white trim. Very simple and elegant, but sexy at the same time.
I paired this top with pink and purple tones during the shoot. I even used a set of butterfly combs that originally belonged to my mother. I’ve been wanting to wear them for quite some time, but could never find the right hairstyle that needed accenting.
