A Punk Inspired Cosplay
This particular costume idea has multiple reasons for making an appearance on my month of masquerades. Not only is it easy to put together, but I’ve had all these items in my closet from high school days. This costume is also based off one of favorite anime characters, Nana Osaki.
For my lovely punk singer’s makeup, I kept Nana’s key features in mind: her thin black eyebrows, purple eyeshadow, and red lipstick and nails.
The outfit I’m recreating consists of a t-shirt, red plaid skirt, fishnet tights, leather jacket, and boots. Furthermore, in the image, she wears a dog collar, Vivienne Westwood armor ring, and a multitude of earrings. Incidentally, I do not own any of the lovely Vivienne Westwood’s collection. Until I find any on sale, I’ll make do with similar looking items from my own jewelry box!
In conclusion, I was pleased to pull such a fun cosplay together so effortlessly.
