Video Collaboration
At the beginning of October, I received an email from a local pianist, composer, and artist about collaborating. Brian Hanke has been playing piano for 20 years, studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada, and became a freelance pianist in Los Angeles for 10 years.
In recent years, he moved back to New England and started sharing his work through social media. I was delighted to help with his project. More so after listening to the beautiful composition,“Aria for Strings”.
We met up to scout the location and go over the storyboard. The day we had rehearsal was windy, which was concerning for our video style.
Luckily, everything worked out in our favor the day of the shoot. It was warmer than rehearsal, with minimal wind, and not too many people. Even the tree we set up to shoot by had begun its transformation for Autumn.
The scenery was beautiful.
Even with a few hiccups such as clothing issues, makeup malfunctions, and tripod mishaps, the shoot went smoothly. Brian had the video edited in less than a week, and now it’s ready to share with the world!
This was a totally different experience, modeling in a video versus modeling for a photo. But I loved the challenge and hope to do it again soon!
Make sure to follow Brian on youtube for more!
