I’ve had some rough experiences when it comes to my skin. As of late, it’s been particularly sensitive and inflamed. I haven’t wanted to wear any makeup for fear of agitating it.
Of course, that means I have this vicious circle happening where I’m self-conscious and want to add makeup to my face because my skin looks so bad. But when I try to put cover up on it either A) doesn’t cover it fully or B) causes my skin to break out even more. Usually, I end up feeling worse both physically in my skin, and emotionally.
Make Up For Ever HD Foundation
However, I found a foundation recently that I feel does a good job covering the redness, without feeling like I have to plaster on coverage.
The foundation is called Make Up For Ever HD. I found it at my local Sephora.
It goes on feeling light, and once it has a few minutes to set in, looks pretty light too. At this point in time, I don’t wear it daily, just special occasions or photo shoots. But I’ve been very pleased with how it looks when I do use it.
After I wash it off, my face doesn’t feel dry like I’ve experienced with other foundations. I want to point out that all of the pictures I took for this post weren’t retouched in any way. I even opted out of putting any other makeup on so the comparison could be as close as possible.
I’m very pleased with Make Up For Ever HD Foundation so far, especially when it comes time to edit images for my blog.
Hopefully whatever is causing my skin irritation fades quickly. Considering all the ideas I have waiting to be photographed, I need to start working on them soon!
