“Jack Frost nipping at your nose…”
This was my first location shoot with Mike. We had been planning on doing something outside, and the morning of the shoot it started snowing. It was perfect – first snow of the season, on the first of December.
Granted, I could invest in some warmer shoes next time I do a snow shoot, but it’s a learning experience. And it was too beautiful of a day to worry about at that moment. I originally tried to style myself with a pair of glasses and cabbie hat. But when it came down to it, the best style was just wearing what I normally wear, and being myself.
Who knew that snow could make for such a great portrait?!
