Spring is nature’s way of saying “Let’s Party!” – Robin Williams
Spring is here, and it actually feels like it (finally)!
It seemed like the warm days would never come. Because of that, I have been busy trying to soak up all of the vitamin D I’ve missed out on during winter and walking barefoot in the grass every chance I get. This is one of the reasons I haven’t contributed as much as I normally would to my blog. Well, that and I have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to write a post about sundresses and sundress weather!
As much as I love Spring, it can be pretty fickle. This means I’m reliant on the weather’s good nature in order to take nice, sunny pictures of dresses outside. Every time I had a chance to take pictures, it seemed to start down-pouring this week. Of course, the weekend I decided, after hearing we were in for 4 straight days of rain, NOT to take pictures or even have a sundress with me, we get some of the most beautiful Spring weather. Irony-its not lost on me.
Luckily, I happened to be browsing at a thrift store and came upon the ideal Spring Sundress, in both style and color…and just so happened to have a camera with me.
To me, an ideal sundress is something colorful and made of a light material, but short sleeve. That way it can be paired with a sweater for a little more coverage from the breeze. Oh, and if it makes you feel super cute, that’s a bonus too.
Hopefully, I can get back into the swing of posting more often, but if I don’t, it will likely be due to my being outdoors. Most likely with my thoughts miles away from anything but sunlight, a cool breeze, and bare feet.
